Message from the Principal

Pendleton Sixth Form College was established in 1973 from the sixth forms of Salford Grammar School for Boys and Pendleton High School for Girls. In 1997, the College merged with nearby De La Salle Sixth Form College (formerly De La Salle Boys’ Grammar School). Thus, the proud traditions of these institutions live on in a vibrant college designed for the 21st century.

Students at Pendleton College consistently achieve examination results that are significantly higher than the national average. These results are a testimony to the hard work of students and the excellence of teaching at the college. We are delighted this has been recognised by the award of Learning and Skills Beacon Status, the highest accolade a college can receive.
