Swanning Around is an innovative strategic dance and music performance outreach education project developed by English National Ballet in partnership with the Royal Albert Hall and WebPlay for Shanghai World Expo 2010. Pendleton will create a performance company and embark on a creative journey developing a choreography based on Swan Lake. In London the performance will take place at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, 14 June 2010 and in China the performance will take place at Shanghai World Expo 8 September 2010 as a curtain-raiser to English National Ballet and Shanghai Ballet’s joint Swan Lake representing UK Pavilion Day.
