Students Gain Experience on BBC Sitcom In With The Flynns

Work Experience gained through working on a real life sitcome set.
Three BTEC Creative Media students from Eccles Sixth Form College have been given the opportunity to star as extras on the BBC sitcom In With The Flynns, staring Manchester actors Will Mellor and Warren Clarke. One of the students will also be shadowing as a runner for the programme’s production company, Mandaback TV. The students will act as stand-ins for younger actors for six weeks and will also be involved with the main actors by assisting with reading through lines.
Damen Bramwell, Media Tutor at Eccles Sixth Form Centre, said; “This is an excellent opportunity for our students to get some great industry experience of working on a live set. With the show being quite high profile and starring well know actors, this will be an excellent addition to each of their CV’s and will no doubt enhance their employability when they come to starting their careers within the Media industry.”
