Students Visit Countdown Set On Enrichment Trip

Media students from Eccles Sixth Form Centre visited the set of Channel 4’s Countdown, based at MediaCity Uk.
Tutor Damen Bramwell successfully answered the conundrum puzzle – correct answer was ‘Draughted’ – and was filmed for the TV show.
Damen said, “We all had a great day visiting the Countdown studios at Media City UK. The students were able to take in the atmosphere of a real life working set and could witness, and appreciate, all of the hard work that goes in to the making television programmes. Obviously, the highlight of my day was getting the conundrum answer correct and being filmed for the show!”
